Fareda Johnson advocates for people with albinism through her modeling and foundation Golden Shade.

She writes spoken word poetry about her experience being 'The lightest shade of black'. Aside from advocacy, Fareda is currently in her second year of University.

During her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and expressing herself creatively through makeup, dance and literature.
